Solicitors must provide a mass of compliance information and details to clients under procedures enforced by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), HM Government, the Law Society and others covering Terms and Conditions of Business/Service; Anti-Money-Laundering procedures; fee information; Data Protection; Complaints, etc.

There is an immediate and real danger of information overload/confusion. What is intended to give assurance and to clarify matters can often achieve the exact opposite.

At Henchleys, we have found that clients understand and appreciate a short, frank free initial consultation at the outset whether at the telephone or an appointment at one of our offices. If we can help we will identify what needs to be done and provide a full and clear fee estimate tailored to your particular requirements. If we cannot help we will point you in the right direction (e.g. explain the Small Claims Courts procedure where there may be a good and valid claim but government/costs rules mean you need to act in person).
